You're Right! The TDK 12X is a HELL OF A LOT FASTER than the Plextor 12X. It actually burns "like" a 16X or 18X burner and also has "Burn Proof Technology".

Well yes you can get buners for about 50$ but they are about a 4x4x10!!! I mean you can live life on the edege and buy one! or you could realy live life to the fullest and buy a HP!!!

so you say go with the TDK, ok
mabey LWD should do a burner review, it would be cool i guess but it up to thoes TOP DAWGS

We will be releasing a burner review within the next week. A showdown between a SONY 12X8X32 and an HP 9500 12X8X32. No TDK in the mix though - sorry.

Well if you guys want to know any thing about the TDK I have and some of the other ones out a philips or hp or sony but..... I would just go and spend a few $ more and get some that lasts longer then a week!!!! Just post a note and I should answer it in a day!!!
