The Warcraft Series was great. And the next one looks even BETTER!

AOE has to rank up there too...

Hard to pick only one though... depends on my mood

Oh, and you can't forget about Lemmings!

Nothing beats Chess, nothing, Spot hit the nail on the head! But of course you probably meant computer strategy game! Then it have to be electronic chess...hahahaha

What about the really old cheezy ones, like CHESSMASTER 2000. Or that one, I think it was called BATTLECHESS where your peices would go to a 'cut scene' and fight each other. :-D

Actually I was hooked on Masters of Magic too, and I would play that game for hours and hours, so it gets my vote. Warcraft and RedAlert come a close second!

Wow, I forgot about Lemmings. That was an awesome game. This is kinda off the subject, but anyone have a favorite Atari game? Kaboom was mine. Breakout was awesome too. Asteroids was cool, but as soon as my little ship started moving I was dead. Raiders of the Lost Arc was way up there. That was about as sophisticated as Atari games got, I think.

Kaboom and Pitfall were two of the greatest games ever made for Atari. I also loved Missile Command and Space Invaiders. Raiders of the Lost Arc was also quite entertaing for that time period. Hmmm....I could go on and on about Atari. I've found myself playing a lot of the old shit on my Emulator for my computer. Funny how time seems to repeat itself.

You got an Atari game you can't remember the name of? Let me know, I can probably come up with it by you just describing the gameplay.
