Here is my current issue,

I managed to get my grubby mits on a functional Intel SE 440bx-2 motherboard, and the processor I also got (these were free components) is a Celery 400, so I was trying to find some documentation on what the maximum capabilities of this board were. And well, I can't find JACK... Help me my dogs! please!

Here are Intel's specs on that motherboard. Here is a review from Tom's Hardware featuring that board.

Here are Intel's pages regarding the technical specifications of PPGA Celeron processors. And here is another article from Tom that you might find useful. All at your own risk et al.

There are a few different versions of that board, which Intel should have somewhere on their site. You may be able to use a coppermine CPU with it, or you may be stuck with a max of a P2 450. The one I had was only supporting up to a 450 P2, so you're mileage may vary.

Thanks alot for the info! And I respond with yet another question...

How hard are those Slot 1 to Socket 370 converters to find? Are they spendy? Useful? Reliable?

Much thanks as always
