I am looking into buying Windows 2000 for my personal use at home. What version should I get? How much is it? Know of a good place to get a good deal?

I would say Professional. The Server/Advanced server is geared more for SMP machines with a butt load of RAM, multiple NICs, servers basically.

If you have no use for that kinda stuff, Pro is perfect.

Pro is what *most* people use.
