My computer starts up very very very slowly, i have windows ME, what do i do to speed it up

Why do you think it's called Windows ME? It's the most appropriate name for an operating system that I've ever seen.

Ditch it and stick something else on there instead. Hell, go back to Win98 if you can't get hold of Win2K, WinXP or even Linux.

Congrats, you have a coaster!

Your copy of WinME is good for keeping condensation from ruining tabletops!

Remove that stinky OS from your computer. XP pro is the way to go when it comes to windows OS's.

By the way, what are some basic hardware specs? By some crazy off chance is could be that old 180mhz Pentium Pro slowing you down?
