I read the article but after looking at the pictures of the two ends I do believe they are labeled backwards. The one on the left is labled 568a - standard end but the other picture actually shows the standard pinouts and it is labled as the crossover cable. Please check this.

I just checked the article and we are correct. I hopped on google and searched for 568a and came up with a few links. Here they are:
