I installed DX8a(4.08.00.0400) the other nite and all was ok till i rebooted the next nite. I went to play a little UT and now it locks after about 3 min. Of play!!! Whole SYSTEM LOCK. Shi*!! When will they ever get it right:?: Question Question
I'm runnin Win2k and all was ok till I ran it for some demo I DL.. Turned out it was for an NVida card.. Damn thing won't run on my Voodoo3... Shi*!! Sad Smile
Ok what files do i need to Backup for the 2K registry? ie "User.dat, SYS.dat, Win.ini, SYS.ini for win9x.. This is the last time i install anything without havein it backed up!!!!! Shi*!!!!!!

backup *.dat from these directories:

winnt
winnt/system32
winnt/repair

that should get everything you need without too much effort/thought

Blame is for people who need a reason to be pissed off !
