Good review... of both drives. I wish I knew about LWD last summer when I was sniffing around for computer components!

It should. I have not tested though. I will try to test tonight. The CRX-140 worked great, but no official word on the CRX-160 yet.

Thats quite alright Joljol.
I have seen a LOT of Yamaha SCSI CDR and CDRW's on Ebay for sale that are refurbished(repaired from factory due to being Broke or some shi*). I would be careful purchaseing one of them. Make sure you get a good Warranty with it. SCSI would be the way to go if you want to be able to do other things while you burning cd's.

I own a CRX160E that came with my Sony Vaio computer. When I first bought it, it worked wonderful. After about a month and a half, the drive reported write errors everytime I went to burn a CD. I looked into the problem and many people suggested using different CD's. I tried this and still had teh same error reported. I haven't been able to find any help for my problem and I hope maybe someone experienced with the sort of thing might be able to give me some help!
