i want to buy one burner, i thank with sony 160 and cd asus 50x (digital auido extract 15x).... but people say me better in scsi and i see yamaha scsi 8824 with good price, few bucks less sony 140 (-$20)........ + scsi card ($35) + cd scsi.... i don't know whichone.... but i suppose about 80-85 bucks......
then 100 bucks more yamaha 8824 and cd scsi against sony 160 cd asus 50x......
difference is only velocity or there is difference in record quality and durability.
if diference is abou1 minute..... i can wait.... i am young :-D
what i do ?????

Thats quite alright Joljol.
I have seen a LOT of Yamaha SCSI CDR and CDRW's on Ebay for sale that are refurbished(repaired from factory due to being Broke or some shi*). I would be careful purchaseing one of them. Make sure you get a good Warranty with it. SCSI would be the way to go if you want to be able to do other things while you burning cd's.

I own a CRX160E that came with my Sony Vaio computer. When I first bought it, it worked wonderful. After about a month and a half, the drive reported write errors everytime I went to burn a CD. I looked into the problem and many people suggested using different CD's. I tried this and still had teh same error reported. I haven't been able to find any help for my problem and I hope maybe someone experienced with the sort of thing might be able to give me some help! |
