I've been using Mint for my goto Linux because of Unity.

I use XFCE. That and I've mostly switched to CentOS for most everything.

I did meet Mark Shuttleworth once at a meeting (he stopped by on his private jet). He asked if I liked unity and I said I was an XFCE guy. That was like 5 years ago. It's about time he took my suggestion. Very Happy

I use i3, with configs that makes it work with vim keys. I think i3 is the best
wm ever made to date.

Using sane minimalist software is so relieving. For example, now I can enjoy my
popcorn while watching unity people suffer. This keep happen again with KDE and
Gnome.
