maybe we should add a tablet section, since we got the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Ipad, Playbook, HP Topaz, Toshiba Foleo 100, Motorola Xoom, LG G Slate coming up, anyone using a tablet apart from Apple?

Nope. I gave my blackberry up a few months ago in favor of a new Droid X and am glad I made the change.

The memory limitations is what did me in...I could only install a handful of apps at a time since the on board memory was so small, and I couldn't move/install apps to the 8GB memory card I had.

a pad forum might be cool. It'd be nice to see them get used.

Interesting article. I read something similar recently, probably in the register. He certainly is right about the OS, my old Pearl can't get out of its own way. But it's old, by tech standards.

I've been looking at those Android tablets. They look pretty interesting, more so than a phone. But RIM has made its name in the business sector, so I wonder about the direction.
