Gonna try water cooling this weekend. Anyone have any good ideas for a cheap radiator?

How about using the radiator from a Holden?

Or this one? This article is titled "Vindaloo and Froodogs make a Bong Cooler". I'll let you judge for yourself...

They aren't very cheap.. I will find out tomorrow at work... Best to go to wrecking yard and snag one.. Pick&pull are the best cause it's a lot cheaper...

I believe NOS - New Old Stock
Meaning and original part not a reproduction. But it seems kinda funny since it is a Pinto part. Have you seen many restored Pintos?[Sticking out Tongue]

The real question is, "Would you WANT to see any restored Pintos?".. LOL

Spot, check the radiator shops in town. They can probably find ya one cheap. or have one laying around.

Well... thanks for all of the suggestions, but I ended up going to a local auto parts store and getting a 401 model transmission cooler for about 25 bucks. Size is of the essence because I want the whole thing to be completely enclosed in the case when I'm done.

I have everything now but the pump and I'm waiting for the damn UPS people to get it to me. The whole thing should be under 100 bucks when complete. I'll take some pics as I build and post em here.

I messed around with a TEC water cooler last year. I never put it in any computer, but it still worked none the less.

I used a goofy bildge pump, an electrical box #rotor style, and build my own aluminum water blocks. For the radiator i had a heater core out of a 1983 chevy caviler. i had to de-solder the pipes and put in my own fitting, but it was super simpple.

good choice with the x-mission cooler. They usually fit quite nice in the top of cases.

look into my eyes and its easy to see 1 and 1 makes two two and one make three. it was destiny.
