Woof! Woof!
I just thought I'd stop by and tell you about something really cool in guitars. I'm working with my pal in Sweden on an electric guitar with no pickups. I have modified my guitar with the new invention and put a switch on it. The switch selects between the guitar's normal pickups and the new invention.
The way it works is you add supermagnets under the strings on the pick guard, then when the strings vibrate they produce a voltage. You detect this voltage and send it into your amp.
The signal is low, so you must listen on high gain using the distortion setting of the amp, but it works. We've bought some sweet little transformers and plan to boost the signal that way.
There's lots of other details about it but no need to elaborate too much. If you have any questions or comments, fire away! |
