I am putting together a pc from all parts. I installed a motherboard A7N8X-LA. The problem is as soon as I plug ac in the processor fan starts even when I unplug the on/off switch. I am at a loss. Please if someone has a answere I would love it.

Check your front panel header connectors. Make sure you aren't shorting the wrong pins.
Read the last page on this manual: http://www.elhvb.com/mboards/OEM/HP/manual/explorer_manual.pdf |

BIOS may be set to power on when AC is applied. My server is set up to do that cause I have the front buttons disconnected and need some way to turn it on. |
