Lifehacker has a great article on Canon firmware enhancement. My wife just bought an SD870 which I may have to play with a little Twisted Evil

This is awesome. I was playing around with it tonight on my A540. The battery metre and the histograms make it worthwhile right off the top - any other features are just gravy!
