Well, now it's down due some weather issues...I think the admin got slammed with snow. The same snow that's heading towards me.

We're getting snow too. I have concearns about pimping this server to my friends with it being so up/down as it has been. What can I do to help stabilize it?

I definitely understand that. I'm actually fairly embarrassed about it. I mention to a number of people to come check us out and the server starts crapping itself.

Me and another GM are going to have a sit down with 2 of the admins discussing a number of things. One of which being the recent instability and lack of bug fixings. I don't want to scare people away, but we are working on things.

Happily Wolven has offered his coding skills to help with bug fixes, so I'm in talks with our main coder about allowing Wolven to access our scripts, and help out where he can.

after the patch they did yesterday, the game seemed slot more stable..... If didnt crash once in the 6 hours I was on... As far as my helping with bug fixes, blizzard was very creative in their coding.... Like, to unlock a cage, the key casts a spell.. A spell I can't view because its ckient side... So, going to have to get very creative haha...

ok .......... tried logging on today ...... was forced to dowload and install a big patch..... had to reset my realmlist file and now i cannot connect..... any updates?

bad taz!, you used the launcher to launch the game hehe..

whch means you updated to 2.4, which doesnt work with any private servers yet...

You either have to reinstall, making sure to NOT use the launcher to run the game, or wait a month or more for the server to update to 2.4 ( theres quite a few changes ).

It seems lotsa folks did that, because user count dropped to below 10 after the patch happened.

it happens. the job has been cutting into my wow play time and haven't been keeping up with what is curren or not on the server. when i ger a chance i'll probably reinstall. by then you'll probably have the new patch in place.
