How do they plan to do that! |

Same way every other case is won in America; make your opposition cry uncle from legal fees.
And middle eastern investors.....why am I picturing that someone, somewhere will take the "OMG it'z terroristz!" angle. |

Deal has yet to be approved by the bankruptcy court. In addition there may be other issues.
Typical of SCO, though. |

So I read the deal today. Geez, these people are either stupid, or deluded.
They will start with 5 million, to see the current litigation through. If it goes ahead, Darl is out. They will commit up to 100 million, but at ever increasing interest rates - it is a loan, and they want a good return. Also, they take control of SCO, they get to kick out almost half the board.
It looks like a pipe dream, actually, and I think they are using it to bluff IBM and Novell. I can't see how any investor would be so stupid at this point. |

you do remember these same investors didn't pull out when sco was failing at their profit by lawsuit model of bussiness right? these aren't the bright ones. |

Don't hold yer breath. This is a PIPE dream. When the Arab investors do the due diligence, and see what's up, it'll fall through.
I will be amazed if someone actually wants to buy Unix. |

Especially since the Unix copyrights are what is still owned by Novell. Like I said, it's just smelly, actually. The thugs are trying other options. |
