|
Hey all
I'm filling out a form for a job application and I'm being asked questions such as the following:
"Define the product strategy and road-map for assigned products"
"Delivering marketing and product requirements definitions for product development"
"Project management of the product development cycle including schedules and launches"
What I"m asking for some help on is the definition of product. I was always told that a product is something that you can touch, or feel or see, like a desk, or a lamp. However what I'm thinking is can a website done for a business, or the creation of a software application also be considered a product?
Anyone that could help shed some light on this would be most appriciative. |

yes, simply. Websites are a product, and software development has a life cycle. |

Sweetness. That helps me immensely in fact. Thanks for the rely to what is probably a very silly question. |

meh... brain farts happen... we excuse the ones who don't make it a regular occurrence... the rest we send back to school (unless someone finds them with a clue-by-4) |

Get past the HR bullshit, and get to the point.
You're welcome. Do me a favour and note what they say about product life/product development. |

I hear ya on that. I had to read this questionnaire three times before I could make sense of it. At first glance its' like they're asking the same thing five times over.
I'll also keep my ears open should I get to the interview stage. if you want to know some more info on what this is all about, send me a PM if you want. |
