Great. There's a Googlebot trawling the site. What now?

If admins need to know about bottery then would I be wrong if I said the server logs themselves would contain more useful information? Because I cannot glean anything from that useless nugget of information lurking at the bottom of the site index. Why is it even there?

It's probably just the search spiders. They are harmless and bring us page hits.

It saves me having to decode their IP addresses in the admin page.

I also like to know which bots are here. If I see BaiDuSpider here, for example, I will be able to take action about it. Although I think we're banned in China.
