A cheap Caltek model. It does the job.

Mine was a £10 special at maplins. It says "Sinometer" on it. I don't think it has a setting to measure the quantity of Chinese, but it does seem to have all other functions.

My oldest meter is a Micronta from the 80s. LCD, autoranging. Still works.

RS code is 22-188.

I had a small meter from Radio Shack but it died a few years ago, I thought it was the batteries, but I replaced them and it still didn't work. So I guess thats a toastometer.

I have 2 Craftsman multimeters and a cheapy Harbor Freight $3 special. The Craftsman ones usually do a decent job, but using one today, its out of whack and measuring voltages low, gonna have to check that out Sad

I really haven't used the Harbor Freight one yet, purchased it just to have in the car if something went wrong. One thing I do wish I had, was one with a backlit display, would really help troubleshooting in the dark.
