I used to view my file names as chinese characters, now it has become squares or boxes. How to fix this?

Sounds like a font problem. Change any of the display settings lately?

i reinstalled my OS. How do i know which font is missing?

Go to Regional and Language Options. Click on the Languages tab. Install the missing fonts.

all chinese fonts are already installed in the languages tab
