Yeah, it's that beefed up authentication system... that's the ticket....

Wouldn't have anything at all to do with the fact that it's buggy and it sucks.... of course it wouldn't.

it's because vista sold half as many operating systems as xp... hah.

If M$ had any brains, they'd realize that if no-one is trying to copy it, maybe it's because no-one wants it.

I knwo when shopping for a laptop it's been narrowed down to Dell and Apple. Why? Both offer systems without Vista

I seriously doubt that most pirates are luddites who don't use Vista because it's "cool" to be anti-Microsoft.

NO I was thiking more that no-one they know wants a copy of it, hence no sens elooking for it on the torrents etc....

notice it is always a factory of 2.

Pirated half as much.
half as fast.
purchased half as much.

twice as annoying.
twice as bloated.
twice the memory required to make it functional.

twice as secure, assuming the machine doesn't boot because it isn't spec'd for vista...


Linux and Mac are making baby steps to get to the "next great operating system" clearly vista is making leaps and bounds, I mean they are always doubling or halfing something...
