My Mini hung earlier while shutting down prior to a reboot. Rather than give the thing a reach-around for five seconds I thought I'd find out if there's an OS X equivalent of Ctrl-Shutdown in Windows (makes Windows dump and reboot immediately, without saving anything).

There is.
