I think you underestimate how dumb people are.

Back to the subject at and, within 11 weeks, problem will be SOLVED! Very Happy

$900 for a fuel pump might seem a little outrageous, considering thats just the price of the part....but to me it's the world.

Well, fuel cut problems solved for now....

Of all the things in the world that solved it, a set of colder spark plugs. $27.58 after tax and my car is an absolute freaking monster. It's actually a little scary in fact, I LIKE IT!

Probably would be the same....

Fuel cut was only an issue during mid range on the power band. Right between where it makes the most torque and horsepower, so its would be more linear now, pull harder through the power band..

If I do a normal launch, let off the clutch and get on the gas, just normal driving....if I were to floor it about 10mph in first gear, I'll spin the tires all the way up to 70mph in 3rd gear. But hey, it is winter, so my car does have a bit more free horsepower, and my tires a bit less grippy.

I know I'm going to kill the stock turbo, it can't handle this much power. But hey, I was planning on upgrading it eventually. Laughing

the Pontiac I have finally down-shifted and kicked hard... and I think it may have cratered the old transmission mount cause now it's resting on the cross-member... but that old 305 still has some power... once I get that rebuild kit on that quadrajet and the idle tuned back to normal... it should kick even better... just wish I could afford to get some pro exhaust on it.

Fuel cut? What fuel cut? Very Happy

Need to work on the old launching techniques, aka, don't give it 100% throttle in first gear, otherwise 1-3rd are just tire shredding fun with a pretty hefty bit of 4th gear.

Reverse? LOL.

Nah, launched in first about 1500 rpm, feathered the clutch slowly and once it was out completely stood on the gas, which was a mistake. First gear is freaking worthless. You can see where I grabbed 2nd gear, heh.

I asked cause the car is pointed at the tracks... rather than away from them.
