I've not heard glowing praise of leopard since last year... about this time...

I've not heard glowing praise about vista since, it was called longhorn.

But I'm hearing very little bad mouthing (to the same extent) about Linux.

Must just be the circles I run in. (and the people I hit when they say something stupid.)

personally Tiger was good and all. THis new upgrade isnt that hot. Listen for the key phrase " Future applications will be able to use new features" don't you just love marketing.

in windows this would have been called a service patch.

You can't sell services patches.

That is one think that drove me nuts with apple's OS "upgrades" is that they are doing things that really should be called bug fixes... I couldn't get a friend of mine setup on WPA for her wireless because Mac OS didn't support it at that version, so I had to set her up for wep... RETARDED, You shouldn't have to PAY to get that "feature" it should be a given.

Look at the list of new features and most are bug fixes. But hey for those that paid full price I wish they would have used it on beer and pot cause at least that would have given them something worth the price.
