Well, the box is sexy. It's got some cool holographic thing going on. Certainly sexier than the dull grey box in which Tiger shipped.

Installing it is a breeze. A couple of clicks and sit back and wait ages while the DVD is checked and then the upgrade is performed. Cupertino time is as accurate as Redmond time, it seems. What was going to take 2 hours eventually took around 40 minutes or so.

The most obvious changes are some subtle alterations to the menu bar at the top of the screen, the dock at the bottom, and application windows. Some of the icons have subtle changes to their design and colours.

Fire no longer works; it crashes every time I try to connect. Not that I used it very often anyway. Besides, the developers will have a new, Leopard-compatible version out soon. Probably.

Fracture still works, as does Colloquy. Oh, and Jardinains 2! still works.

More to come as I find it.

Scratch that. Fracture has been broken. It works when clicking the "Test" button, but not when the timer tries to start it.

I paid good money for Fracture. And Leopard broke it.

Leopard sucks.

Last time Fracture broke, I spoke with the developer, sent him some logs and stuff and he fixed the problems.

Crash log found (hopefully the right one) and sent, along with a polite e-mail bemoaning my foolishness at upgrading so soon.

Doesn't have a DVD player - and guess what? It's got 10.3 on it - and now that Retard is out? I can't get PANTHER! YAY.)

Oooooooo - how about Adobe's big 3? Is CS2 still operable?

HAHAHAHA! I am *still* - *STILL* waiting for certain companies of certain printers to come up with Illustrator CS/CS2 compatable drivers that can read the friggin transparencies.
Wait - printer says it's an ADOBE issue - ADOBE says it's a printer issue...

O2: NO!
My Boss: You don't know?
O2: NO - WE AREN'T ROLLING IT OUT... PERIOD.

I've got a version of the CS3 cooking on Rov'Rs PC -
I'm NOT fond of it because there are like 2 tools that I use that are in the OTHER package of CS3.

The developer won't be getting Leopard until he gets a new computer, probably next year. Ah well. I can live without Fracture for a while, painful tho' it will be.

Well, I've notice not much difference. a few hard locks where even the beach ball doesn't come up. Other than that its almost the same. Glad I only had to spend 10 bucks.
