What a beast. I love this thing. Have it running on an Asus PL5DT, running 2GB ram and an 8500GT 512 MB, event though the vid card is not that good, I played Enemy territory Quake Wars, and it was smoother than ever. Definitly recommend this. Maybe not as good as a high end Dual Core 2, but still is great for a mid-range cpu intensive buy.

And when games really start use SMP/multi-core things will get really fun! Perhaps ETQW does? Does it?

I have a price decided for getting a Q6600. When it is reached I'll get one ASAP!

Congrats on the buy! What are you cooling it with. Now do not tell me Stock. That's a dirty word! Razz

Yep using stock fan. I got sick and tired of the thermaltake on the other pc. It made soo much noise it drove me mad. Right now, I´m very happy with the performance I´m getting for this PC. Next buy will be sound card. Razz and 22 inch monitor.

I can reccomend the SounBlaster X-Fi stuff. Excellent sound and the EAX4-5 stuff is jaw-dropping good.
