I don't know if anyone else here is and RC or airplane enthusiast but I'm both. I'd love to geek it up if anyone else is into these hobbies.

Go right ahead.

I don't have any serious models. I have done a few. And I've been flying simulators for 22 years or so. I have more or less given up on Microsoft now. I stopped at 2002, won't go to FSX because I don't want to get Vistafied.

I am playing with Orbiter a lot now, when I have the time. Rather challenging, I have yet to actually manage to rendevous and dock with the ISS. I have managed to synch the orbit plane, but not the altitude or catch up.

Anyway, post pics of your models. I have some stupid flying toys but nothing very interesting.

I few an RC airplane that tops out around 250.... I couldn't do anything but fly in a circle otherwise it would get so far away I couldn't see it Sad I don't understand why guys like to fly RC jets..... too boring.

I don't have any pics of my planes but I'll try to get them out sometime this week and take pics. I have .46 size ultimate biplane, 4star, and twist. I also have th electronics for another plane but I recently decommissioned it do to some stress that was showing in the frame. I think I'll build one from scratch to replace it. I also have a electric, mini ultra stick and a cap 260 flat out.

For cars I have a mostly stock Savage X and a not at all stock Team associated mini 18-t I have it topping out around 50. it was doing high 60s but that was too fast to control.

Farmboys first T-Maxx met an untimely end thanks to a fence post.

Which led to Super-Maxx

Tech Specs.....

Unlimited Engineering SuperMax ALU Chassis
Unlimited Engineering RacerX front and rear suspension with Ti pillowballs and hingepins.
RacerX supershocks
RB Concept TM728 Nitro motor (Rody Roem modified)
Super4 Foward only conversion to the tranny with steel input gears.
Ti Driveshafts
SuperMaxx Ultralite 7.5 8 spyder diffs
4 shoe clutch with Alu shoes
Strobe Slipper with an OFNA 72t delrin spur wheel
Proline Mambo 40 series wheels with Proline Bowtie rubber
Hitec high torque steering servo
Hitec high speed throttle servo
Unlimited Engineering super servo saver
Airtronics M8 radio

This truck is freakishly powerful. So much so that farmboy has screwed the centres out of 2 wheels. He has also screwed a number of steel CVDs and he is looking at refitting Ti CVDs in the near future.

After breaking the pullstart a number of times, Farmboy replaced it with a rotostart setup which works much better.

The spur wheels don't seem to last but farmboy doesn't want to replace it with a steel spur wheel as it will add a lot of rotational mass.

Future upgrades include replacing the Alu bash plates with Ti, fitting Ti CVDs and maybe fitting a rear wing.

Farmboy is also thinking about getting a spektrum module for the M8 or even replacing it with a Nomadio setup.
