Hilariously good find. |

Well, I don't need this
The a local cafeteria (Kings College) has $5 (Canadian) lunch buffets. Since September I've been eating one meal a day + a bowl of cereal monday to friday. I and my friends at first expected me to die or something, but despite that I actually gained 10lb. I have given up deserts for lent so we'll see what happens now ...
At first it was a little bit uncomfortable. I couldn't eat enough in one sitting so I would be hungry at night. That lasted a few weeks, but now it's completely normal for me. When I went home for Christmas I expected to be completely thrown out of eating 3 meals a day, but luckily there was no problem. I switched back and forth with no problems.
Today for lunch I had 2 turkey sandwiches with gravy, some carrots, at toasted bagel with cream cheese, 3 glasses of chocolate milk, some rather strange tuna based pasta substance, and some potato. Normally I would have a bit more (pizza or tea or a biscuit or something) but I had supper last night with my grandmother so I wasn't as hungry as I normally would be.
That said, you're probably envisioning some tiny 5'5 130lb guy that eats like a maniac. I'm actually just over 6' and 175lb ... And as for energy to get through the day, I run a mile or two and have an A average so AFIK it's not screwing me up mentally or physically
Score one of the sneaky guy ...
Does anyone else skip meals for non-anorexia reasons Any doctors here who still think I'm going to die? My food budget is $40/week Yay?
Btw, I am still surprised that I'm not dead or deteriorating but my only explanation is this: you're only 18 once |

I only eat once per day. Sometimes around lunchtime, other times at dinner. Just depends on what's going on that day. Have been doing it for years with no issues. |

I usually eat a small lunch, mostly just to get away from work for a while, then I eat dinner when I'm at home.
Some times I'll eat breakfast (a big breakfast, because if I'm going to make breakfast I'm going all out.) then not eat for the rest of the day...
but it is winter right now... when some come back I could very well eat 3 big meals in a day and be doing just fine. |

I used to eat only once per day...the daily meal deal at subway 6" sub with drink and cookies cost me $5 a day.
Now I eat twice a day, something small for lunch (sub or something) and a decent size dinner (meat and vegetable or pasta)
Unfortunately, me eating more has caused me to gain a bit of my weight back (205 to 235 on a 6'2" frame)...but thats mostly due to a lack of exercise.
I remember when I was younger, eating a 12" sub every 2 or 3 days...I had my cigarettes and mountain dew to tie me over...but apparently that wasn't to healthy since everyone said I looked sick |

every one says I look like I need a cheese burger...
I tell them that this is what healthy looks like in every country besides the US... |

I usually have three meals a day, sometimes two on the weekends, with some water or a coke in between. I've noticed that if I stat skipping, my tummy gets VERY angry (it's never good to be in pain and it brings it in spades) |
