Just a thought, but since a Digg thread was started for the Linux article, would it be an idea to add a 'Digg This' link to each if the LWD articles.

As I said, just a thought.

unfortunately, phpNuke does not allow javascript, and since the dig code consists of the following:

it just plain wont work Sad

I'll look into it tho

Could you not code a redirect so the digg this link in the forum actually just parses another page that is the actual JS?

The border for the delicious tags overlaps the line of text below it slightly, if possible there should maybe be a line between them.

Apart from that, it looks good.

Appearance aside, do "social bookmarks" serve a useful purpose anyway? Do we even need them?

I think the "social bookmarking" thing is useful for some. I think that the suggestion that we provide buttons to make it easier to use them is a good suggestion.

At issue with del.icio.us is that their javascript wants a bigger border than we are providing on our left side. I am somewhat loath to increase that border just to accommodate del.icio.us but if we can do it that'd be ok. If it continues to look like crap, then we can just support Digg. I don't know how /. works with this stuff.

In any case our Google rank is sufficient to ensure that we pull traffic via well placed search strings. I would like more traffic to LWD since I'd like to see it finance all of the activities of the community at large. It currently is nowhere near that.
