This one is weird, and I couldn't see it report anywhere...

If you try to post a URL with double-p in it, the double-p is changed into a <img src= " target="_blank">.

For example, it I try http://www.baxterbulletin.com/ap<>ps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070102/NEWS01/701020302/1002 (after removing the <> of course), you end up with:

http://www.baxterbulletin.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070102/NEWS01/701020302/1002

And I think I know what it is... If you type p<>p (removing the <>), you get pp. I think that the code is getting confused when it posts and trying to replace the pp with the emoticons. It is fine in the domain name part, but in the remainder of the URL is where it has issues...

I just tested this with the names of the other smileys as well, such as :id<>ea: and the same occurs: " target="_blank">http://www.littleblackdog.com/ Idea

looks like it does process url's looking for smiley's

issue is in the names of the smiley's...

there are a couple of new ones that don't have : : around them..

if we fix that, we should be good to go...

of course, it also looks like its failing dramatically... which is not good...

I just cleared out about 100 or so of those alternate use codes for some of the new smileys. Some of them were really lame. Sorry about that, if I had known that smiley cab would have all that crap in it I wouldn't have even loaded it in the first place. We're talking about those pixellated ones that look like MSN on 8 bit.
