I got NWN2 for Christmas (yay!) and so far I am really enjoying it. It's like a mix of the best stuff about NWN (story and mood), thrown in with some of the best stuff from KOTOR (character management).

But I've read some negative reviews on the game (I'm not referring to negative reviews relating to hardware, lucky for me I am okay there). So I was wondering if anyone here has played it? And love it? Cause I really do, so far...

I got NWN2 at Thanksgiving. It's quite good. I am still enjoying Guild Wars: Nightfall more, though.

I'm getting it. I hope. Hopelessly hooked on Everquest 2 at the moment, between rebuilding rooms, rebuilding garage, playing with Kalle Kitten, rebuilding computersm, writing for LWD and working.

I know that a day is 25 hours (if you skip lunch)... but it is not enough. I need 40 hours per day. At least.

While still studying for a Service Desk Cert that I have to have by the end of March and a new daughter that's coming in Febuary(This is why humans have a short life span )

NWN2 is pretty bugridden, in multiplayer at least. The multiplayer also suffers from some questionable design choices (everyone freezes when any conversation happens, people fall behind during scripted movement). The camera is terrible, and targeting is fairly difficult.

But the game is still very fun to play with friends. The official campaign is pretty great, and goes beyond the usual "guy learns to fight, kills dragon, saves world" type of storyline. I have a great time playing it, but wish we could get a couple years worth of patches to fix it.
