4 Top Ten teams lost this week. Should have been 5. Florida got lucky with a blocked extra point and a blocked field goal. If Florida would have lost as well, USC would have probably jumped to #3. I shouldn't jump to conclusions. There game is going on right now. They could lose but I doubt it.
This unfortunately will give Notre Dame some false hope of still getting into the National Championship game. Which I don't feel they should even have a right to play in. JOIN A FRICKEN CONFERENCE ALREADY YOU FRICKEN RICH BASTARDS. |

with the # 3,4, and 5 teams all losing, next weeks Mich OSU matchup will definitely be for all the marbles. January wont matter because the #1 and #2 teams will be going at it. in the final game of the season |

Still wish Florida would have lost. Would love to see Rutgers go undefeated and play for a National Championship. Would be a true Cinderella story. |

Lets not forget that USC and Notre Dame play the last game of the year. But USC has to play Cal next week. Hopefully Cal can beat them and then have Notre Dame beat USC. |

I hope not. I'm sick of a all the Irish hooplah as it is. Let Cal beat USC, I think they can do it this year, even after bizarre losses to Tenn and AZ. |

That said Texas would never out rank OSU and Notre Dame would never out rank Michigan. that is of course unless there were circumstances where notre dame beats a team that Michigan looses to. |

I meant to say "USC beating Notre Dame". I don't like the Irish. |

I've said it before: The Irish are over-rated. They've choked out clutch wins against mediocre teams and have no business being in the top twenty in the country. Why is Quinn even on the Heisman watch-list? I don't get it...
If they had a really good team, I would have no problem giving credit where it's due. It's not that I absolutely hate ND. I just don't see where they've earned all the hype. |

We don't like you either.
ND isn't a Top 5 team....they are a Top 20 team. The problem you run into is that there are very few teams that are "Top 5 teams" and someone has to fill the role. There is OSU and Michigan and then everybody else. And while you can say "they've choked out clutch wins against mediocre teams", you can say the same about OSU (Illinois), Florida (S.Car), and any other team in the Top 10. U of L barely beat Cincinnati and Kansas State. The mark of a good team is winning games in which they are getting outgunned....they find a way to win. Say what you will, but a 19-point comeback in the 4th quarter against Michigan State was as much about ND shutting them down as MSU f'ing it up.
College football has become like college basketball...rife with parity. Anybody can win on any given day. In basketball, it's the same way...generally 2-3 dominant teams and a bunch of others that shuffle in and out of the Top 10 continuously. ND has the hype because they are ND...just like Duke and Kentucky in basketball. If they are the 10th best team in the nation, they'll be ranked 5th because of the name. |

I should clarify that. I don't mean I don't like Irish people. LOL |
