I've been getting a lot of bounce mails from people who get notifications for PMs, but their email addresses are no longer valid.

It is a bannable offense to have an invalid email account on littleblackdog.com. Just so you know.

Now, old timers that we know, have changed accounts, lifestyles, etc, so we'll cut some slack, but can all of you active folks PLEASE check your email that you have in your profile and make sure it works?

And if you don't want mail notification for PMs then turn the option off in your profile.

Either way, in 2 weeks I will start disabling accounts that show up with bad email addresses, and then you can get ahold of me or tyme and explain why you don't have a valid email address registered.

if for some reason you are absolutely clue-less today and need a guide on how to check/change your emial..

click on profile.. its the second field down.. check it / change it, scroll to bottom of screen and click Submit..

Thats all there is to it Wink

Time's up, folks. I hate to sound like a hard ass but it's obvious that many prominent forum contributors have not checked their email address for validity. This is an important, and required, component of your membership to these forums.

So when you go to log in this week and find out that your account here has been disabled, you can send an email to fathertyme, or myself, here at littleblackdog.com, and one of us will update your email for you, and then re-instate your account.

I'm getting tired of the bounce messages which I have to clean up, it gets in the way of my spam fighting, it takes my time which I could be spending doing useful things for the forums, and it annoys me. So I would really appreciate you fixing your email addresses.

So, I have noticed that nobody has bothered to check. Or, if you have, you aren't the ones with the mail address problem. Or something.

I will be shutting off accounts this weekend. As I noticed a fair number of active users, you are now warned, and email me at lbd with your valid email to get reinstated.

You think I am kidding. I need the email addresses to know who is real.
Fix it. This is actually the last warning. Some of you will be very surprised.
