What the hell would the BCS do if Michigan and Ohio St didn't play the last game of the year. They are both most likely going to be 11-0 when they play each other. Hard to say who is going to come out on top in that game but I am going to give the nod to Ohio St. I hate both teams but I think Ohio St has the edge.
If the Badgers could have just beaten Michigan!!!! |

Yeah the BCS is all F'd up I mean they had Notre Dame ranked at 4 when the year started.
I hope Michigan beats Ohio St. just cause I live in Michigan. |

To hell with ND!
Bunch of overrated pansies choking out wins by the skin of their teeth against mediocre teams!
They're the reason Michigan is ranked as high as they are. OSU will give the Wolverines a thump, I'm sure, and I wouldn't be too awful surprised if Michigan isn't undefeated when the face the Bucks. Indiana could be a surprise, but their problem is that they can't play consistently. But if the Hoosiers show up with their game face on, Michigan might have more trouble than anyone is expecting.
The BCS can take a flying leap as far as I'm concerned. I'm a far cry from being a Longhorns fan, but I don't think they should be ranked as low as they are. Sure, they had to replace their star, but the 'Horns are still a devil of a team.
Anyway, who do you think will play the NC? At the start of the year, I might have picked Auuburn against OSU, but now I may have to say USC or even West Virginia (depending on how USC does against Cal) against OSU. |

I don't know who will be in there. Hard to say. I think USC is going to get upset in one of their last games. |

Good call
I think everyone knew it was going to happen. USC was just barely winning their games against teams that last year USC would have slapped around.
Still it looks like Michigan and Ohio State are heading for a collision course on the 18th |

Yeah, but Ohio St is looking to Damn good. Illinois could possibly upset them but Vegas would have to give 1000:1 odds on that for me to bet on it.
I am still pissed Ohio St beat Miami a few years back. That still pisses me off today. But this gives the Big Ten some respect back again. |

I think this should be called national championship game 2007 part I
here's the difference between Michigans Offense and OSU's Michigan gets the job done with a minimal # of options OSU has been throwing the playbook at teams in senseless overkills.
The way I see it Michigan Has the advantage because they get to see everything OSU has. OSU gets a limited glimpse at the Michigan Offense and and absolute schooling when it comes to Defense. I can only assume that OSU is going to try and run the ball on Michigan which will probably net them 95 yards all game.
For Michigan and OSU to meet again in the national championship game, Michigan would have to win in a low scoring game by sayyyy 1 pt so I'd say a final score of 14-13 Michigan. Then have a repeat game for the national championship game part II |

BCS rankings don't come until after a few weeks have been played. Coaches/writers ranked Notre Dame 4th. |

OSU and Michigan can't compete together in the NC, because a team can't play for the NC if they haven't won their own conference. (at least as far as I understand the new rules)
OSU and Michigan will likely be 1 & 2 when they meet, and the winner gets the spot in the NC while the loser will have to drop to at least #3 so that an eligible #2 can play in the championship. |

The BCS got lucky this year that Ohio St and Michigan play each other this year. Otherwise it would have been a big mess. The Big Ten doesn't have a conference championship game and they all don't play each other every year. They don't play 3 teams each year in their conference. |

That about the way it works here in the BigXII, except that they're devided into north and south divisions, but they each play 3 teams from the other division, leaving 3 teams that they won' play each year. Sorry thing about that, is that the north has been really weak the last few years, so that even though the #2 in the south is the better team, they don't get a shot at playing for the conference title, because it's set up to pit the #1 north against the #1 south. This year, Texas will probably take #1 in the south, with either TexasA&M or Oklahoma in #2, but they won't get to play for the title, even though they will both have better records than Nebraska or Missouri from the north. Kinda sucks... I wish they would just do away with that and lump everyone together. |
