Hey all

Trying to install a new system that I just built, and have ran into quite an annoying issue.

When I'm booting off the cd for the first time, if I have the MB's RAID feature enabled (one of the reasons why i bought this board), it will detect the RAID device, and then hang. No error, no nothing. Tried it out with both the amd64 and i386 versions of FBSD 6.1, still same issue. If the RAID is turned off, it starts just fine. The relevant specs are as follows:

ASUS M2N-MX AM2 GF6100 MATX MAINBOARD for the motherboard.
AMD ATHLON64 AM2 X2 3800+ for the CPU
PLEXTOR PX-755SA 16X DVD-RW SATA for the cd drive.
SEAGATE 7200.10 250GB 7200RPM 16MB SATA2 for the hard drives.

Has anyone ran into such an issue? I'm thinking that the obard RAID controller that comes with this MB is either not detected or not supported by BSD, but I want to confirm before i have to take it back (and pay 20% restocking fees )
