Detroit is going to the World Series

Time to party like it's 1984 all over again

Beer Beer Beer Beer Beer Beer Beer

This has been the decade for Detroit Sports
Pistons have won a NBA Championship
Red Wings have won a couple of Stanley Cups
The Shock have won a couple of WNBA Championships
The Superbowl was held here earlier this year

It's good to be a sports fan in Detroit right now
(Unless you're a lions Fan Shocked )

This is the same city that has riots and burns and loots the place every time that one of their teams makes it to the finals. Rolling Eyes

See that's was in the Past

There hasn't been a riot in Detroit since the 80's

When the Pistons won no riots
When the Red Wings won no riots
When the Shock won there may have been a riot but not that many fans watch the WNBA
And so far tonight no riots since the Tigers are the AL Champs

If the Lions make it to the Superbowl I expect riots

And you're just mad cause Detroit has a sport team that people can riot about.

What do you have down there in Mobile AL?
Razz Very Happy Wink

Gorgeous autumn weather with highs in the 80s. Cool

Across the south, we have the best college football in the nation, and that's where people's sports passions lie.

You got me on that one but I don't they have any Undefeated left in the conference either. Since the number 2 ranked Florida just had their left and right butt cheeks handed to them.

While Michigan and I hate to say this Ohio State are still undefeated.

And Creed you're right the Ranking system is a little biased.
I mean they had Notre Dame Ranked number 4 at the beginning of the year
when they haven't done squat. But of course Michigan showed the BCS the errors of their ways after slapping ND around like a red head circus monkey

Yeah I think this might actually be shaping up to be a good World Series.
I was a little pissed after game one. Tigers were making to many mistakes.
I know Verlander is like one of the best pitchers in the world but what the hell was he thinking pitching to Pujos with runners on base.

But once again Rogers the newly crowned postseason pitching machine. Prevents an 0-2 hole
(And what's up with the mystery substance?)

Win or Lose I am so proud to be a Tigers Fan Once again.
