You know I was thinking. Since we have a lot of Techie type people here maybe LWD could do a How to Section for Techs.
You know from the most basic "how to install a video card" to the advance "Creating a DMZ and how to track Hackers"
I know I would use it |

Thanks and good request. I'm hoping that some folks will help by writing articles like how-tos (with lots of pictures!). I'll publish a track-a-spammer article soon when I get some time but I'm kind of busy getting the houses in order. We have some articles and reviews in the pipeline and I'll certainly take these sorts of article thoughts on board.
One thing we're going to do, for sure, is to get more articles to help less technically minded people through technical chores. I think that LWD has traditionally been in a geekier place, where LBD actually isn't. I think we can match the two perfectly by following LBD's lead. |

If we create articles what format should they be in (doc, PDF, txt, bat, exe), and where should we submit them too?
I have tons of training articles, and a lot more that I plan on writing. They go from the basics of how to configure a POP3 in Outlook, to setting up a secure server installation. |

Mr Rex posted some guidelines for articles, here:

That hasn't been updated since July though... Has there been progress on the publishing procedure front, Edison? |

We'll just keep them on the article list for now. Wikis have issues.
Send them to me at littleblackdog or littlewhitedog until I put together a new method. Or PM them. Either way. We can always use content. |

there is one, but it's version 0.93 so it's not very useful. We're working on upgrading. Tyme's been busy doing other stuff this week. If I can find the right module I'll load it in the next day or so. |

Cool. Let me know if you need help testing the new version. |
