STATUS:
The post in the last 24 hours thing is broken.
The stats page is broken.
The list of people who visited in the last 24 hour is also broken.
The watched post e-mail link problem is being investigated.

These things all broke when I re-uploaded a fresh copy of PHPBB over top of our modified one. The repairs are easy to make, but I will be making them slowly. Basically becauseI don't want to put the forums back into a high CPU load this soon after getting things back in order. So give me some time to fix things slowly and monitor the speed of the site and CPU usage as I go. Eventually things will be back to working order.

In other news, if the site should go into a high CPU usage mode again we may be kicked from our current host. So what I'm working on right now is getting LBD and LWD setup on a fully dedicated co-located server somewhere. Something to do with what we want from this point forward and then we'll never have to answer to anyone else ever again (except bandwidth). Our monthly costs will be higher because co-locating a server is going to cost more but in the end I think it will be worth it. So far I'm currently searching for a local company to locate the box with and have a few companies that look promising. As far as the hardware goes, I can't really say too much, but I will say that there's some really nice people "somewhere" who are looking out for us (they know who they are).

I'll post more info as it becomes available. As far as timeframe goes, it might take a couple of months to get everthing worked out, built, loaded, configured, etc.

My thanks go out to everyone for sticking with the site, and for being so patient and understanding during this mess.

Many will notice it has been a while since this announcement. My understanding of the problem is that the stats and visitors functions were CPU suckers and since our bandwidth is high (45GB/month) and we're actually pretty heavy consumers, we're best leaving this turned off until we have a steady source of income. I am working on that, too.

Fathertyme will continue to look into these functions but we are going to back burner these functions for now. If in the LBD development environment, we get some breakthroughs, we will roll them out, but don't expect anything soon. I just want to set some realistic expectations.

If you are interested in beta testing let one of us know. You can email us via the forums.
