A week ago I would have voted for watchguard as I've had one for a few years now and no problems since installing it, however In the last week I have been slamming it with lots of network activity and I keep overheating the cpu on it.
If I reach about 2.0-3.0 mbps on network activity between my trusted and optional it starts throwing out error codes for dropped packets. Then after about 10 minutes of that it locks up, blocking all traffic. |

I just got a Netgear Firewall about a week ago and I will say that it's definatly more robust that just the Windows Firewall. So I would say Hardware Firewall |
