Okay, so I have this emulator of the Super Nintendo, and it's been working fine for a long time. Then, I go to open a saved file on a game (Chrono Trigger) only to find that the file in question has ceased to exist. This happens to every file I save on this emulator, and I am at a loss at what is causing this very aggravating problem. If anyone could give me advice or help or something along those lines, I would be grateful.
The emulator is SRM/SMC based. SRMs are the save files, they are all there.
I thank those of you who care in advance.

Which emulator is it? Can we try it on my G5 or the kitchen mini to see if it's something specific to your iBook? It's possible it's a problem with where you are trying to save the file, your profile shouldn't be able to write just anywhere.

SnesX, I don't know whether the same problem will happen on other computers as I haven't tried that. But I have suspicions that this iBook is a lot more screwed up than I think it is.

It's good to get more than one opinion, even if the one opinion you'd normally get is from a person with an encyclopędic knowledge of computers.
