CDrom Busted.

Ok, my mini mac no longer boots when the cd rom drive is installed (open the case and pull the cd rom out and it boots fine) when the CD rom is in (no CD in the drive) it just loads up to a blueish screen and hangs there, it won't pull any CD's into the drive it is like it isn't even getting power almost...

any one experiance anything like this before and know if it might be the mini, or the cd drive having the problem? right now I'm ok with out a CD drive, but if I want to watch DVD's in my room I'm going to need to get that put back in there again.
