I used to live in my own little world, but they didn't like me there either.

But I'm going to start publishing what I know in a topic, members only, soon. I have to move this all to members only for what should be obvious reasons.

I wish you would reconsider.

Under your reasoning, everyone, including SPAMers has to register to see it (believe me, if they really had to, they would find a way). I am under the impression that even the members-only area is still Googleable in Archive (SEO).

This information should be in the Public Domain, for ALL the World to know that they are SPAMers, and help others to avoid them. This is exactly the same as publishing free HOSTS and / or No-Ads.PAC files, and should be encouraged by all operators of Public and Member-Only Forums.

Thank You very much,

ha. No. Topic was the wrong word anyway. I meant thread.

TomMax, considering your argument, I don't see why I can't just leave the current published banlists where they are. Once I figure out where the unregistered spammers are coming from, I can do a surgical strike on that. Sure wish phpBB had better facilities to ban subnet ipblocks.
