I can't think that the memory working good or not
or with bad bits would affect the detected cpu speed in BIOS

I'd like to see that cpu-z screen

no but changing the multiplier would... but when he changes the multiplier something causes the system to go unstable... smart bets are probably either power or memory... memory is easier to check...

would show any instability

cpu-z will tell you what the chip says is the internal make of the chip
palomino, thoroughbred, XP, etc ...

plus the make of the board
and bios version

plus the make of the memory chips
and cas latency

and more

want more ?

I wanna jpg, cmon .......
===========
looks like PC Wizard does the same job and more ..... give it a go too.

Memtest86+ gave a clean bill of health after 19 passes. Here are the CPU-Z screens. Since my system started becoming unstable @ 166x13, I have replaced the MoBo, PSU, and memory.

Hmmm, thats odd. I tried to run it @ 200x10 and it told me that windows could not start because <Windows Root>\System32\ntoskrnl.exe was missing or corrupt.

you also are running mismatched ram. Not that big of a difference 3.0 vs 2.5 and yes the timing should be at 200mhz. the pc 3200 is supposed to run at that speed. perhaps moving the corsair stick to slot 1 and the cheap stick to slot 2 might help

A7N8X
A7N8X Deluxe
A7N8X-E Deluxe
A7N8X-VM
A7N8X-VM/400
