I will not give you any specific cases but I will recommend case companies like Enlight, Antec and Inwin. Depends on the look and features you are searching for. All those companies have good, affordiable case that are loved by overclockers and modders.

I like foxconn and inwin. I am cutting up a foxconn right now. Get a cheap one if you want to cut holes in it.

Probably one of the most important things to look for is a good quality Power Supply.
If you gonna wack away at the case then it doesn't matter a whole bunch but the PS is the thing to watch for.

I agree with everybody else
it's not how much you spend on some cheap-o case that you're going to mod anyway
it's how much you spend on getting a Dremel or something equivalent, that will make your experience so much happier
Blame is for people who need a reason to be pissed off !

I'm with Artstar, buy the cheapest case you can find that fits your needs minus the PS and then get yourself a damn good power supply. Mod the case or do what ever but the PS is the most important part.

sssshhhhhh....don't tell anyone, but i'm in the middle of a lexan case for the water cooled server i'm always talking about. Got most of the components now, just need a powersupply....ssssshhhhhhh.
I think lexan is probably the easiest to cut, but poo-poo on the price.
