Congratulations to the Swedish hockey Team and Nick Lidstrom for the game winner. That was one fine game played by both the Swedes and the Finns. I loved the Detroit RedWing line of Sweden. Its just like watching the NHL Detroit swedes vs. the Dallas Finns Again Congratulations Sweden |

First: I'm deleriously happy! Like the big wuss I am I even cried a little during the Forsberg--Sundin-Lidström post game interview on national TV And during the national anthem during the medal ceremony.
Second: I'd rather had Finland as bronze medalists. It is unbearable to have them play so good the whole tournament and stumble at the Finnish (drum roll) line. Poos bastards, they really deserve to win more.

The NHL and Detroit have pulled a lot of talent from Sweden.
the Dallas Stars have pulled a whole lot of talent from Finland. Gotta love good sportmanship though. and Cronwell from Sweden is making a huge mark for the RedWings. |
