in Explorer. The device mannager tells me its there, but I cannot see it from anywhere else. I tried the hardware wizard (piece of crap) I still don't know, the machine boots up without a hitch, but when I go to my computer, there is no second HD. I just installed it, it's hooked up to a Promise 100 controller card, I'm running Win2k, thanks for the help!!!

Your disk might not have a drive letter assigned to it.

Click on START - RUN
Type DISKMGMT.MSC and press Return.
This will show you all the disks and partitions in your system. If one of them doesn't have a drive letter on it then right-click on it, choose Change Drive Letter and Path and go from there.
