All I get these days is Master File Fetch Failed.

I ahve a screen full of completed WU and I can't get them to Seti. Any ideas?

I am Running Boinc 4.43

it's up to 5.2.12

your Boinc is possibly obsolete ....
check the downloads regularly

4.43 is the "current" boinc manager for linux so its not obsolete. But I agree its time to upgrade to 5.2.12 . its a nice manager and full of features

The only version I haven't had any problems with is 4.19 .. so yeah, out of date but still functioning just fine. No need to fix something that isn't broken right?

I *just* got 4.19 uninstalled finally YESTERDAY. POS.

Now I have 5.xx whatever humming along...much better.

actually uninstalling the boinc process is unnecessary and may cause you to lose WU's that are already onboard. The easiest way to install an updated version is to allow Boinc to install into the same directory as the previous version. As long as the process isnt running, it will just overwrite any outdated files and install properly everytime.

Got it fixed....

Damn IT dept changed the Proxy and never told me. Firewall people are locking us down even tighter now.
