AMD Anthlon64 3200
Quote:2005-11-10 20:52:25 [---] 2095 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
2005-11-10 20:52:25 [---] 3853 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU from log prior to optimizing
Quote:11/27/2005 11:12:38 PM|| 2800 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
11/27/2005 11:12:38 PM|| 8202 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU
optimized.
I noticed the huge change in Dhrystone but a small increase in Whetstone
Wonder if this is normal
seems after the Benchmark that my time for each seti unit went from ~2.5 hours to 1 hour 52 minutes. that is quite a shave!!! |

it takes time for a collection of wus to get credit ...
check your wus list to see how much different the requested time is compared to before |

i was getting claimed credits of over 50 pts/ WU. This as I've noticed is incredibly high considering that most Intel Boxes range from 15-25 credits/WU. THe high end results may even get me bumped from recieving credits. As of yesterday, Optimization is off and the latest Boinc download is on |

once again I got results that were to say the least, bad.
Returning a claimed credit of 65 is a far cry from "normal" claimed credits. I think i forgo anymore "optimized" Boinc managers and just run standard |

Sir ulli i understand How credit is applied but i also know that if one's results are far from the average then the results may be discarded by seti. This is also a science project as well. Bad science is as bad as no science. SO i would rather return results that I know are accurate. even though I get claimed results around 30/WU, this is far better than the 50+ that the optimized results were trying to return.
Again if my results are so far off then they are of little value to the project and I just as well not do the work |
