well 11 days so far, looking back they've been mostly good.
I now have my KVM setup so I can switch between the mac and the pc at will, And I find my self favoring the mac... not entirely sure why.
I do think that the 256 Mb's of ram in the mini is abit low, cause fire fox some times tends to drag it's feet and I know it isn't my connection.
I'm very pleased to have a mythfrontend on the mac makes watching TV and recorded programs no the pvr very easy, and I've adopted VLC as my video player of choice.
as for music I'm still using i-tunes, I have my remote wonder hooked up and I use that for quickly changing songs, mostly I leave Itunes hidden and just use the remote with all my songs in one play list on shuffle... (what I did with winamp too..)
All and all a good time...
complaints so far... I haven't managed to have enough time to really get down and fiddle with it, I'd like to try to get XFCE as the windows manager but I don't know how possible or feesible that would be on a mac with out installing linux first... we'll see how it goes when I finailly have time to mess with this (after I retire in 50 years...) |

There is an X windows system built into every OSX version since 10.3. So most X windows applications built on OSX will run using the Mac's X windows subsystem. OpenOffice.Org for Mac actually runs using the X windowing subsystem, not Aqua. |
