I don't know if this belongs in here or in the rants section but I am severely pissed and unsettled that the Steelers got destroyed in the AFC championship game.

Granted the Patriots were a good team, but we honestly did not play like we were a 16-1 team! Our defense lost their penises somewhere because they just could not get those clam-chowder loving prick faces!

Oh Steelers, you let me down! Crying or Very sad

Yeah, but you gotta remember...your quarterback is a rookie! He did exceptionally well all season, and was the first to beat a team that hadn't been beaten for over a year and has only lost 4 times in the last 2 seasons.

Roethlisberger is going to have a great career, and should be with the Steelers for many years.

Go Pats!

Yeah, last week, the Defense propped Roethlisberger up. I was really hoping to have a Quaker Bowl!

I hate the Steelers...

Have no beef with either the Eagles (with TO out, of course) or the Pats... It would be nice to see Andy Ried win a superbowl, but of course, the Pats are really a well-deserving team.

But above all else, I am pleased to see the Steelers season come to an end... Very Happy

This is true. He can only get better from here, so look out Pat's, we are taking it next year Wink

BTW... I think everybody here acknowledges the fact that the Patriot Steeler game was the REAL Superbowl. I mean c'mon! The Eagles are going to get utterly crushed!

No way dude... I'm pleased to say that the Steelers ARE NOT in the Superbowl...

My Clark Kellogg-esque comment of the day: "I think it's safe to say that if you are not playing football on Febuary 6th, then you are not in the Superbowl."

Well... I'm a Ravens fan, and we hate the Steelers. My husband is a Browns fan. He hates the Steelers. We share that together, so it gets taken to a new level. On top of that I have some personal issues with a few individuals who like them, so I take even more sick pleasure in seeing them lose...

No offense or anything.

What he meant was that there isn't a team in the NFC that could beat either the Steelers or the Patriots, so the winner of the AFC championship game was more important than the winner of the Feb 6th game, as it is (to him) a foregone conclusion.

I think the Patriots will have to work on the 6th, but don't foresee them losing.

Webster, I do realize what he was saying. I just am being argumentative.
